The investment in ecommerce can be substantial.
There is no point in wasting money if you do not define
objectives and understand the online market you operate in.
Here are three different examples of what we mean.

European Travel Services (aka Euro Encounters) is a small travel company specialising in group travel packages.
We provided this customised development in 2007 which took account of all the different combinations of tours, dates, accommodation, travel type and more. (It was also done in under 6 weeks as the client's need was urgent.) Importantly it allows the client to update the site themselves through an easy to use content management system. So new tours and the specific combinations can be added when necessary. The site serviced the client from 2007 to December 2017. (Now being re-done to accommodate change in business.) |
Pollenation is a florist shop in the centre of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. We created the site using a development platform which provides a low cost e-commerce solution.
The main object of the website is to attract and sell to those who need its services. These combine bouquets and customised flower arrangements for Weddings and Funerals. The ability to fulfil an order online is "expected", even though the business has regular footfall through the shop and many customers telephone their orders. We defined the investment and approach by the customer potential and business requirements. Site moved on but we have a copy of the last updated version we did. |
